The Plymouth Chamber of Commerce maintains a Community Events Sign located in Baldwin Park. This sign is available for listings of non-profit community events within our town. Requests for inclusion of events are accepted only by email to: chambersign @ ymail.com (without the spaces). The policy for sign use is as follows.
The Chamber of Commerce of the Town of Plymouth provides and maintains a sign on the Town owned property on the Green at the corner of Main Street and North Main Street.
The sign is a weather protected changeable letter village profile sign erected to provide a place to post information for special events occurring in town.
Use of the sign is available to all non- profit community organizations wishing to post information about a forthcoming event. Listings are limited to event titles, dates and times. Plymouth Chamber of Commerce members are given priority. Out of town announcement is not permitted.
Organizations may post no more than one event a month.
All postings and requests for postings must be received at least six weeks before the event date.
All postings will be done on a first come, first posted basis taking into account the date of the event and the date of submission. The notice will stay up as long as possible (usually 7-10 days) depending on demand. Please note that the event listing may not be up on the day of the event so please do not depend on it for day of. It is an announcement only.
The Chamber volunteers donate time to maintain the sign and post events. Update of the sign is at the discretion of the volunteers.
All postings and requests for postings are subject to approval of the Chamber of Commerce and decisions of the Chamber are final.
Information submitted to be posted should include the event name, date, and time. The event sponsor and contact information must also be provided, including contact name, telephone number, and email address..
